Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using FreeToolskits (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Because every tool runs entirely in your browser, your use of the Service involves no transfer of data to us.
Using the tools
All tools on the Service are free to use without registration. You may use them for personal, educational, commercial and internal business purposes. The tools are provided to you as they are, and you are responsible for deciding whether a tool is suitable for your task.
Generated output
Certain tools create output that has real-world consequences, and you are responsible for how you use it:
- Passwords. Generated passwords are produced locally and shown only to you. You are responsible for storing them securely - for example in a password manager - and for the systems you protect with them.
- Barcodes and QR codes. Retail barcodes require valid, registered numbers (such as a GS1 prefix) to be sold through retail channels. You are responsible for obtaining the correct identifiers and for verifying that printed codes scan correctly in your production environment.
- Invoices and receipts. Invoicing can involve legal and tax obligations that vary by jurisdiction. Generated documents are provided as a starting format; you are responsible for confirming they meet the requirements of your country and industry.
- Content conversions. Converted text, JSON, regex patterns and diffs are produced mechanically and should be reviewed before being relied upon in production.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- generate, host or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent or infringing;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
- misrepresent the source of content generated by the tools.
Intellectual property
The Service - including its design, text, and the code of the tools themselves - is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Output you generate with the tools belongs to you and can be used freely for your own purposes. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its source code as your own without permission.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools will be error-free, that output will be correct for every edge case, or that the Service will be available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeToolskits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because all processing is local, you retain full control over the content you enter, and the Service's role is limited to providing the tools.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date above, and material changes will be highlighted before they take effect.
